Series Description

It was a time of great uncertainty. Culture was roaring with chaos, and Rome was ruling with an iron fist. Only 60 years after Jesus’ resurrection, we find the church limping along – trying desperately to maintain its identity as the people of God. Into this reality, Jesus speaks through the pen of one of his apostles. The words written by the Apostle John carry both encouragement and correction, praise and rebuke. And maybe the most weighty thing about these letters is in their application – not only for 7 ancient churches but for churches like South Fellowship in 2018.

Join us as we explore the ethos of 7 ancient churches; hearing Jesus’ words to them but honestly listening to his words for us as well.
