We love kids
Kids Ministry is all about helping kids discover how to live in the way of Jesus with the heart of Jesus.
We believe that families are the most influential people in their kids’ lives, and we want to partner with families as they discover how to live in the way of Jesus with the heart of Jesus. We have an incredible team of staff and volunteers that pour into your kids each week.
WHAT TO EXPECT
YOUR FIRST VISIT
We are excited to meet your family! When you visit South Fellowship, you’ll see signage directing you to the New Family Check-in area. We will ask for some basic contact information and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) before walking your child to their appropriate classroom. We assign kids to classrooms according to their birthdate or grade in school.
Save some time and pre-register your kids online today. We look forward to meeting you!
Nursery: Newborn-24 months
Infants and Toddlers experience God’s love through the nurturing of our kids ministry team members in a fun and safe environment. The Toddlers listen to short Bible stories, and interact with their peers in a colorful play atmosphere.
Preschool: 2– 5 years old (Pre-K)
Our Preschoolers are ready to learn about establishing and growing a relationship with God through foundational stories from God’s Word. The Word comes to life in learning centers, creative play and storytelling.
Elementary: Kindergarten—5th Grade
Elementary age children focus on their relationship with God and with others. Bible lessons, music, prayer & worship stations, crafts, games, and community projects are some of the ways they experience the truth of God’s word.
Tru is a spiritually forming, parent-empowering curriculum that equips children, leaders and families to know Jesus and live out a vibrant lifetime faith. This happens as we:
Explore Scripture chronologically
Kids see the whole Bible and how God’s Big Story connects to their own story.
God is at the center of every lesson
Focus on God statements shows kids that no matter the story, God is always central.
Create space for worship response
Lessons encourage time for kids to respond to God through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Homefront Weekly is a resource that is designed to serve as a bridge between families and the church. This weekly can equip parents to not only know what their children are learning at church, but helps them to become their kids’ primary spiritual leaders. No matter what their own faith background is, parents are able to preteach the biblical content and lead discussions at home with their family.
