Ministry Focus: God has used Richard and Susan for over 20 years to help get people on the field and to keep them there. They have served in Kenya, Nigeria, and the United States. They currently serve at SIM USA’s national headquarters. Richard is the Operations Engineer. His work includes purchasing, shipping services, HVAC, maintenance (including electrical, plumbing, equipment repair), and other operational services for the 90-acre,9-building campus. Susan is the Prayer and Celebration Administrator. She oversees prayer within SIM for SIM workers, while others help mobilize prayer outside SIM for SIM. Her work includes facilitating prayer for SIM USA’s 450 missionary households and ministries by the headquarters 100 staff through chapel coordination, prayer guide publication/distribution, prayer letter reading/processing, and missionary correspondence. She also helps with some training sessions with both adults and children.
Please pray for:
- each member of the Snyder family (Richard, Susan, and their adult boys, David and Brian) would love and follow Jesus with their whole heart and be obedient to His call to Himself.
- wisdom in their jobs at SIM USA as they serve, mentor, lead, and pray for workers in the office and on the field.
- God to help SIM USA double the number of workers sent by 2030.
- Richard and Susan to be used to share Jesus with Muslim neighbors and friends God has brought into their lives.
