Women's Ministry
Women's ministries at South Fellowship focus on two unified purposes. The first is to
encourage women to know and worship Jesus Christ as fully as possible. The second is to
help us build intergenerational connections so we can best serve others as the Holy Spirit
leads.
We offer both ongoing and special event gatherings. We hope you will find one or two that
will help you make significant connections with other women at South.
Ongoing Gatherings

"It's Tough Being a Woman - a Study of Esther"

and hear about a personal faith journey followed by an inspirational talk.

Fellowship Area. Child care is provided.
A Lineage of Grace (Adult Bible Fellowship)
This women's Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) meets weekly on Sundays at 9am in Room 105. Starting
January 8th, we will begin a 7 week study of
"Unshaken," the biblical story of Ruth.
"Unshaken" is the third of five Francine Rivers' novellas entitled a Lineage of Grace.
This series is described as
"unlikely women who changed eternity." This study is facilitated by
Eva Maxwell and Kathleen Petersen.
Through June 3rd
"Unshaken" will be followed by two more short novellas based on the biblical
accounts of Bathsheba and Mary. During each of the 7-week sessions, we will read a novella, discuss
related scriptures and pray for each other. Choose one or all of the sessions.
Child care is available from South's preschool through teen ministries. Cost for the paperback
book containing all five of Rivers' novellas is $10. Click
here for the detailed schedule.
Holy Habits
Join us for a 12 week interactive study of
Holy Habits by Mimi Wilson. Holy Habits
help us keep God as our daily focus. As we grow closer to God, He uses these habits in our
hearts and lives to make us holy. Each week we will discuss a chapter and pray together.
Facilitated by Kristen Carlson and Barb Galuzzi.
Meets on Fridays, 9-11am in the Office Prayer Room.
