A woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. - Proverbs 31:30
Laugh - Learn - Lean on One Another
"To speak a healing word to a broken heart. To extend a hand to one who has fallen. To give a smile to those whose laughter has been lost. To encourage the dreamer who has given up. To share the painful solitude of one who is alone. To ease the burden of one bent low beneath a thankless task. To reassure the doubter and reinforce the believer. To light the candle of God's Word in the midst of another's darkest night." (excerpted from Barbara Johnson's Book 'He's Gonna Toot and I'm Gonna Scoot c1999 by Word Publishing')

PRAYER MINISTERS
Women of compassion and faith waiting to pray with you on the phone in confidential conversation. Names and numbers at the Women's Ministry table.
ENCOURAGEMENT GROUPS
Small groups of women coming together in an intentional way to talk about the activity of the Lord Jesus in our lives. We center our discussion around our daily walk with the Lord, how we are seeing God at work and what we are struggling with. God designed the family of God and we are family to one another through support, encouragement and prayer. All women welcome. Times are tailored for each group.
MENTORING - DISCIPLING 1 ON 1
This ministry is comprised of women called and trained to come alongside others and offer an open ear, prayer, and friendship as well as teaching, discipling and accountability. Women available to come alongside other women offering an open ear, prayer, and friendship as well as teaching and discipleship. Please vist the Women's Ministry table in the lobby for details. YOU ARE NOT ALONE That was the bottom line in the Heart to Heart notice at South Fellowship. I tacked the paper to my bathroom wall and wished it were true. I made the mistake of thinking that the Heart To Heart mentors were just for people who needed an introduction to the Bible or were experiencing a catastrophic crisis. Heart to Heart is a blessing to women in many situations. When I finally asked for help, a mentor accepted me just where I was. She has encouraged me to use my strengths and hasn't been shocked by my shortcomings. She is the one I can call to share doubts or celebrate good news. She is my blessing. She is my friend. I AM NOT ALONE These are actual words from a woman who reached out to Heart to Heart's Mentoring Ministry. Ecclesastes 4:9,10 "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work. If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man wo falls and has no one to help him up!"
