Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in love, in faith, and in purity. - 1 Timothy 4:12

Student ministries at South are committed to loving God, to loving people, and to changing our community. We desire to help students worship God with their whole lives; to connect with other students through fun, friendship, and prayer; to encourage each other to grow closer to Jesus; to learn what the Bible says about being followers of Jesus; and to infect their friends and our community with the love of Christ.

Sunday Mornings - Student Worship ( 9:00-10:15 AM , the Rock House)
Every Sunday, Middle School students and High School students gather for relevant teaching and sometimes reflective prayer. We want to encourage students to stop at the beginning of their busy week, be quiet before God and give Him an opportunity to speak to them through worship, prayer and teaching. The Middle School and High School students are taught separately, according to their development and different life issues.

Sunday Night - High School ( 6:00-8:00 PM , Rock House and beyond)
This is a great night for students to take a breather from the pressure of today's life as a teenager, to see what God is doing in their peers who also love Jesus, and to bring their seeking friends to a place that welcomes them and their questions about God. We play games, serve those in need, and worship with Christian outside of our church, and always have fun regardless of the activity.

Wednesday - Middle School ( 7:00-8:30 PM , Rock House)

Middle Schoolers love wild games and food. Those two essentials, plus caring adults, devotionals and prayer time, make up this outrageous night. The Middle School students, grades 6-8, are encouraged to come and bring their friends.

All these regular events, plus a Sunday night Bible study for High School students, monthly Middle School fun on Friday nights, lock ins, concerts, worship nights, service projects, camps, retreats and summer missions trips provide ongoing opportunities for students to love God, to love people and to change their communities with the love of Christ.

Group Activities
From laser tag to soup kitchens to lock-ins to mission trips, concerts, crazy nights, service projects, and outreach - the list could go on! We hope to provide a challenge for students to enjoy and to grow.
