OUR SMALL GROUP PHILOSOPHY
Almost everyone who attends a Church hopes to find other believers who will share their joys and trials. In a large urban area like Denver, this is most effectively accomplished by meeting regularly with a Small Group within a larger Church. We have discovered that starting and maintaining Small Groups requires a variety of approaches…one size does not fit all. We are purposeful, but not regimented in forming and maintaining Small Groups.
FIND A GROUP
We have a good range of existing Small Groups including Youth Small Groups. You will find more intimate fellowship within larger Bible study groups and other groups that are simply monthly dinner fellowships. Although practically all our groups are open to newcomers, the designation, “small” suggests that some groups are presently full. Also, some groups prefer to fold in new members through old-fashioned personal encounter rather than telephone or email. To view currently existing Small Groups, click here. (If you are looking for Youth Small Groups, go to the Youth page on this site.) You may also email us (click here) to get even more information about a particular Small Group.
START A GROUP
Can’t find a group that fits? We encourage forming additional groups. If you are already a regular attendee of South Fellowship and feel that God is prompting you to begin or host a Small Group, please contact Dan Elliott at 303-797-1500 x.13 or email him at “delliott@southfellowship.org” to get started. We provide regular support and encouragement to our Small Group leaders by scheduling periodic sessions about 3 times a year. Sessions include prayer for Small Groups and sharing insights with one another. These sessions are open to members of our Small Groups who are engaged in all aspects of Small Group leadership. For a current schedule of sessions, click here.
