A Shopping Center?

For many years, South Fellowship had no building. We met in area schools on Sunday mornings. People began to come and join in. In 1991, the leaders of the church felt God had led them to this shopping center in Littleton. We were drawn by its unique place in the middle of businesses and residences. It had a community feel, simplicity and a great potential for growth and expansion. God planted in our hearts a dream of a ministry hub reaching Denver from this corner of Broadway.
At first, we used just a small part for our building. Most of the center was leased to businesses, but over the years God has grown us and expanded His ministries. Our commitment is to maximize what God has given us. This year, over 80 percent of the Center is being used for ministry, including a Christian childcare center, a coffee shop, and a youth center. Christians from over a hundred churches and several Christian ministry partners use our space each month - such as, Celebration Ministry of Arts, Teen Community Bible Study, and Rock Solid Christian High School. It is still a simple place, but it has become a busy place too.
